We have been in existence since 1889 and are also known as Barclays Dramatic Society. The reference to the 'Spread Eagle' is drawn from Barclays Banks' old logo.

Since our inception in 1889, we have done all that we can to maintain our ethos of high quality and accessible productions. 2009 will be our 120th year. We do not plan to stop. Join us.
